El Presidenté
Born and raised in Queens, New York, with stops in Los Angeles, San Diego, and finally Colorado, Michael Landau, aka "El Presidenté" followed in his grandfather and father's footsteps as an avid cigar smoker. His enjoyment of hand-made premium cigars began in 1978 and has never waned. After working as an advertising executive for the better part of his career, he followed his dreams of opening a cigar shop and forming a rock n' roll band in 2002. The band was formed with four customers/friends and took the name "The Smokin' Cigar Band". After reaching an agreement with his partners in February 2006, he took over the business and changed the name to Havana Manor. Michael lives in Longmont, Colorado with his wife, and 5-year-old twins.
